Janet Lucille Wardell Burke Obituary (1932 - 2018)

Janet Lucille Wardell Burke, our loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away unexpectedly from a fall. She was a member of the LDS Church. She had an affinity for gardening and working in the yard, and she was very conscientious about keeping a clean house. Janet had a great love for her many dachshunds and her special cat, Lucy, that she cared for through the years. She leaves behind a family who loved her dearly—her sons, Gary and Rick; grandchildren, Shane and Christa; great-grandchildren, Kevin, Blake, and Curtis; brother, Richard "Dick" (Marlene) Wardell. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray; and sons, Eddie and Ronny. A graveside service will be Saturday, March 3, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at Murray City Cemetery, 5600 S.Vine Street, Murray, Utah, with a viewing prior from 11:30-12:30 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S.
