Kenneth Stock Roberts

Kenneth Stock Roberts, age 83, found relief from his ailments on January 5, 2018 in Millcreek, Utah. He was born on January 12, 1934 in Garfield, Utah to Farrell John Roberts and LaPriel Stock. He married Annette Smith on March 17, 1955 in the Salt Lake City Temple.

Ken was raised in Garfield and Magna, Utah. He was a graduate of Cyprus High School. Ken was a skilled craftsman which was reflected in his many custom projects in and around his home and the home of others. He retired from AT&T after 25 years of combined service between Western Electric and AT&T. After his retirement, Ken and his wife served an LDS services mission in the Family History Mission in St. George. After their mission, they remained in St. George. He moved to South Jordan to live with Dale his son, soon after the death of Annette. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served as an Elders Quorum President and High Council member along with many other church callings. He was also a faithful member of his ward Choirs, supporting his wife in her love for music. Ken was a man of few words so when he had something to say you knew it was important to listen.

His lovely wife Annette preceded Ken in death. Ken is survived by children: Julie (Richard) Folland, Lynda Roberts, Dale (Connie) Roberts, and Russell (Vickie) Roberts, 18 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, brother: Douglas (Muriel) Roberts.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4100 South 4400 West. Friends and family may call on Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 So.) no viewing on Wednesday.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of the Life Care of Utah for their loving recent long term care of Kenneth. Also Brighton hospice for their tender care in his final hours.
