MarJean Heslington Archuleta Obituary (1929 - 2018)

MarJean Heslington Archuleta March 24, 1929 – September 9, 2018 MarJean passed from this life on September 9, 2018 in South Jordan, Utah at the age of 89. She was the daughter of Mel and Alice Heslington from Beaver, Utah. She has two brothers, Jack (deceased) and David Heslington. Marjean was the mother of six children; Kathy (Tony) Velez, Bonnie (Bruce) Rogers, Craig (Sue) Lindsay, Robert Lindsay, Norma 9Ken) Bradshaw, and Kimberly Boomer Craven. She has 17 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. MarJean retired from O.C. Tanner and she had many, many talents. She loved to knit, crochet and loved to share her beautiful works of art with everyone. She loved spending her time watching her beloved Utah Jazz (Donovan Mitchell was her favorite), she also loved digging in the dirt and loved reading a good book. She loved Pecan Pie. Living at Legacy Senior Living she has made many great friends. She loved playing Bingo and playing in the Kazoo band. She loved her interactions with all her legacy friends and staff. Although at the end she was frail, she was a fighter. She gave cancer a hell of a fight for over a year. She gave us all courage and hope which reminds each of us about the preciousness of life. Her desire to do Temple work and be sealed to her parents was her last triumph. Mom, in life we loved you dearly and in death we love you the same. In honoring her request, no services will be held.
