Obituary for Norine Mortensen Johnson

Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend was led home in the loving arms of Jesus on May 6, 2018 surrounded by her children.
Born December 24, 1927 in Parowan, Utah. Married Orlyn Johnson June 7, 1945, later divorced.
Survived by her children: Denise (Willy), Marie, Lloyd (Nancy), Orleen (Rob), Russell (Cara) and Danny. 17 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 31 great great grandchildren. Siblings: Lloyd (Helena), Etta, Retta (Larry) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends
Preceded in death by her father John William Mortensen, mother Clara Mary Garzand Mortensen, siblings Alfred, John “Jack” Robert and Cleo.
She left a legacy of love to all fortunate enough to know her.
Her amazing talents in crocheting gifts for family and friends, providing “comfort” with her masterful skill at quilt making and her love of gardening brought her joy.
Funeral services will be held Friday May 11th at 11:00 am at the LDS Church located at 1078 So. McClelland Street, Salt Lake City, Utah, where a viewing will be held from 9:30-10:30 am prior to the services.
Interment and graveside will be in Parowan Cemetery, Parowan, Utah, Saturday May 12th at 1:00 pm
