Obituary for Renae Kelly Roberts

"OUR ANCHOR"

Renae Kelly Roberts passed away November 14, 2017 due to complications from a virus obtained while traveling to the Bahamas. Renae was born March 5, 1945 in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Dick and Ethel Kelly. She was the third of seven children. She graduated from Bonneville High School and went on to college in Oahu, Hawaii.

She was married to Chuck Roberts for 52 years, and had two daughters, Cindy Jo and Anna Lee.
Renae was a master at decorating cakes which she did as a profession for many years. She often used her talent decorating special cakes for the family. She loved treating her family to fun times such as making gingerbread houses for Christmas.

Renae loved to travel with her family. She especially loved going to Redfish Lake in Idaho, which was the Kelly family tradition.
Renae’s wit and sense of humor was the center of every family gathering. Her thoughtfulness and big, loving heart was a gift to all of us. She was the perfect example of strength, love and compassion. Having to live without her, will be like living without sunshine.

She is preceded in death by parents; daughter, Anna Lee; granddaughter, Kelsey Marie; and four of her siblings. She is survived by her husband, Chuck; daughter, Cindy Jo; granddaughter, McKenna; brother, Danny Kelly; and sister, Rita Kelly Schobert.

Graveside services will be at the Ammon Idaho Cemetery, on Monday, November 20, 2017, at 11:00 a.m.
