Obituary for Stetson David Peck

Stetson David Peck, a loving and devoted father, husband, son, grandson and friend passed on to our heavenly kingdom the morning of November 2, 2017.

Stetson was born on March 6, 1988 in Salt Lake City to his wonderful parents David and Christy Peck. He was the third of four children, who he loved, and looked up to. In 2011, Stetson met his love Maria, who he later married and began a life with. From this Union came his most precious treasures, Jackson and Julia.

Stetson lived life to the fullest, and made a difference wherever he went. He was a friend to all, and a helping hand to anyone in need. Stetson was an all American, sports fanatic, outdoors-loving guy, “To know him was to love him.” His happiest days were spent in the mountains with family, friends, and an endless list of wonderful memories. Stetson had a heart of gold, and the love he had for his children shined through his gentle eyes. He spent his days working hard, always striving to do the next right thing by applying his family’s motto of “Love, Trust, Integrity, and Fun.”

Those left to cherish his loving memories are: his wife, Maria Moreno Peck, his son and best buddie Jackson David, his daughter and beautiful princess Julia Grace, his loving parents David Alan and Christina Mae Peck, sister Cassi (Clint) Cottle, and brothers Tyler (Brittany) Peck, Justin (Jessie) Peck, as well as grandparents, aunts, uncles and many cousins.

Funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at the LDS Church located at 12154 S. 3600 W., Riverton, UT. Viewings will be held Monday November 6, 2017 from 6:00-9:00 pm at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 1007 W South Jordan Parkway (10600 S), South Jordan, UT, and on Tuesday from 9:00-10:30 am at the church before the service. Interment at Redwood Memorial Estates. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Stetson’s life.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Stetson Peck Memorial at American First Credit Union account #9098179 for his children’s college fund.
