Amelia (Millie) Caldwell Greaves Obituary (1916 - 2008)

On December 4, 2008, Millie returned home to the loving arms of family and friends who preceded her in death. Millie was the daughter of Joe and Annie King Douglas. She was preceded in death by three brothers; Leslie (Bud), Leo, Richard (Dick) Douglas. She married Vaughn Caldwell on June 24, 1937, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Out of their beautiful marriage came a daughter, Yvonne. Vaughn died September 1965. In July 1969, she married Leo Greaves. They lived happily until Leo’s death in 1989. Millie leaves behind her daughter, Yvonne (Gene) Hagen, grandchildren; Rick (Terri), Steve, Doug Hagen and Michelle (J.R.) Hall. She was Grandma Great to eight and Grandma Great Great to 2¾ grandchildren. Millie is also survived by three step children; Vicky (Frank) Dickson, Bob (Kay) and Jim Greaves. 19 step-grandchildren and 34 step-great grandchildren. Her family was her greatest joy.
