Andrea Man McGinn Obituary (1965 - 2015)

Andrea Man McGinn, "Adored Daughter" of Tom and Joyce Workman Man, passed away in Sandy, Utah on April 12, 2015. She was born June 18, 1965 in Silver Spring, Maryland. Andrea is a graduate of Olympus High School. She attended the University of Utah where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Bachelor of Arts degree in Family and Consumer Studies. She served as a Student Advisor at the University of Utah. Andrea played the piano, enjoyed traveling, mastered karate, and had a love for fast cars. She also enjoyed working in retail management while living in California. She described her dream weekend as this: "Ski the Wasatch on Saturday, and play on the beach at either ocean on Sunday!" She preferred the color pink, and was fascinated by lighthouses, Hawaii, and sea shells. Sea shells remind us that with every passing life, something beautiful is left behind. Andrea will be lovingly remembered by her parents, Tom and Joyce; her son, James; her daughter and son-in-law, Clarissa and Jake; her grandsons, Blake and Linkon; and her sister, Leslie and extended family in Maryland. Her aunt, Jeanette, and cousins will miss her warm heart and quick wit. She will remain forever close to the hearts of those whose lives she touched. Preceded in death by her grandparents, Ashley and Phyllis Workman, Henry and Vilma Man; David Henry Man—the Best Brother, Ever!; and Her Hero, Uncle Jay Workman.
