April Kae Knight Obituary (1965 - 2016)

April Kae Knight, age 50, passed away unexpectedly due to complications following a surgery April 18th 2016. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah August 25, 1965 to her loving mother and father, Larry and Judy Knight. She is the eldest sibling of 5 younger brothers; Jayson (Melanie), Nicholas, Jeremiah, Adam (Taylor), and Josh. She was a loving aunt and special "treat fairy" to many nieces, one nephew, and one great nephew who will miss her very much. April attended school in Murray, UT for her Elementary years and attended Wasatch High where she graduated in 1983. During her younger years she enjoyed horse play with all her younger brothers. One of the funny memories her brothers have was walking into the bathroom in the mornings to a sight of Aprils "behind/butt crack" when she would sit on the bathroom counter in front of the mirror perfecting her eyelashes and feathering her blonde hair. She was quite the fox during high school and was liked by many. She enjoyed spending time and having fun with friends, attending FFA activities, and listening to her favorite band, Bon Jovi or anything country. After graduating she moved on to several different jobs including; cake decorator, Bakery manager, home-maker, and her most loved job--mother. Her girls were her greatest joy and truest loves. Bailee (James), McKenzie, and Emily were her three miracles. She and her daughters enjoyed being silly together, listening to music, and making memories. She was the master back tickler, advice giver, and secret keeper. Her girls will always cherish their fond memories of their amazing and beloved Momma. April was a stage 3 Breast Cancer Survivor and a Warrior through her treatments. April was preceded in death by her mother, brother, Nicholas, and Grandparents. There will be a viewing Thursday, April 21, 2016 from 6-8 pm and Celebration of Life Luncheon Friday, April 22nd at 12 pm at the Heber East Stake Center, 2395 South Mill Road, Heber UT 84032.
