Ava Claire Lima Obituary (2018 - 2018)

Our precious Ava Claire Lima, daughter of Mikayla Anderson Lima and Gabriel Lima, returned home to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, June 17th, 2018, after spending nearly 2 weeks in the NICU. Ava came to this earth much earlier than she was expected and, as a result, she faced many challenges. Throughout this journey we have felt her spirit and her personality as she fought hard every day. We are grateful for the opportunity we had to get to know her spirit so well. Her room was sacred ground and we felt not only her spirit, but also many other angels surrounding her every day. We know that Ava fulfilled her earthly mission in the short time that she was here. She was one of God’s most choice spirits. She has touched many hearts from all over the world and helped turn people towards God. We will forever be touched by the many prayers that were offered in her behalf. Throughout these past weeks, our family has been the recipients of so much love and many tender mercies. We are grateful to all who have prayed and fasted with us and who have offered their love and support. We would like to thank the incredible staff at the IMC NICU; they fought for Ava every minute of every hour. We know that Ava touched their lives, and we are so grateful for each and every one of them. They are truly angels on earth. We know that God hears our prayers. He knows the Plan, and sometimes the Plan isn’t always what we hoped for, but that does not mean God did not listen. We were blessed to have had so many days by her side. We know that families can be together forever through Heavenly Father’s Plan. We are beyond grateful for this knowledge we have. We know that Ava is at peace and no longer in pain. She is with her Father in Heaven, her Savior, and loved ones who have gone before her. What an amazing little girl she was to just need this life for such a short time. We know we will see her again someday and look forward to having her for eternity. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 21st, 2018 at 11:00am at the Riverton City Cemetery (1540 W. 13200 S. Riverton, Utah). An open house will follow to celebrate Ava at 1118 W 13040 S, Riverton, Utah. In lieu of flowers, Richelle Anderson will be collecting donations to give to the NICU at IMC.
