Beverly Griffiths Gillen Obituary (1923 - 2011)

“Angel”Beverly Griffiths Gillen stepped into eternity on April 7, 2011 due to natural causes.“Angel” is survived by her loving husband, Dell Gillen; son, David (Lorraine); granddaughter, Sherrie; and many nieces and nephews who dearly loved her. Preceded in death by her parents and grandson, David.One of Beverly’s joys in life was playing the piano for her family. She was known for her love of dogs, beautiful ceramics, baby dolls, needlepoint, and generosity. She did holidays like nobody else! Beverly will be missed by all whose lives she touched.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at 12 Noon at Crescent 16th Ward, 251 East 10600 South. A viewing will be held Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street, and Tuesday from 11:00-11:45 a.m. at the church. Interment: Midvale City Cemetery.
