Bob Sedgwick Obituary (1934 - 2017)

1934 ~ 2017 Husband, dad, grandpa and brother, Bob (Robert) Sedgwick, lost his battle with cancer on April 20, 2017 at his home. He was born in Bountiful, Utah on March 27, 1934. Bob loved his family. He was a hard worker and enjoyed his job at Kennecott for 34+ years. He also loved riding his motorcycle, volunteering at Lee Kay shooting range, and traveling to the competition, where he won many awards. After retirement he spent many hours working at his son's business. He is survived by his wife Lola; children, Terri Brailford (Roland), Bob, Holli Patey (Greg), Kirk (Denise), Angel; 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 27, 2017, 11:00 a.m., at the Taylorsville 12th Ward, 4505 Brians Way (3240 W.), West Valley City. Viewings will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2017, 6-8 pm at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home, 1007 West South Jordan Parkway (10600 S.), South Jordan, and at the church from 10:00-10:45 am prior to services.
