Bounthanh Kaykeo Obituary (1931 - 2020)

View Funeral Webcast Our beloved matriarch passed away on July 22, 2020 at 4:06 am at IMC in Murray, UT. As we remember her legacy and mourn our loss, we also celebrate the amazing life she led as a dedicated mother, loving grandmother, and a doting great grandmother. Bounthanh was born in Laos in 1931. There she married and had 6 children, (late- Phatsada, late-Patthana, Lee, Latsada, Sisouphanh, and Bounthavy). In 1980, her two eldest sons immigrated to the US with their young family. Years later, and widowed she was finally reunited with Phatsada and Pattana, with their siblings in tow. With fortitude and courage, she was determined to raise her young children in this new and foreign land. After establishing herself in South Salt Lake, she met and remarried Khamma Khamsingsavath She is survived by her husband Khamma, daughters Latsada and Sisouphanh, sons Lee and Bounthavy as well as daughter-in-laws Khamvang and Boualanh. Bounthanh has 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Bounthanh is preceded in death by her two sons and a great-great grandson. The legacy she leaves behind will never be forgotten as we see a little bit of Bounthanh in each of us.
