Bret (MUTT) Bowers Obituary (1966 - 2014)

Bret (MUTT) Bowers, age 48, passed away on September 3, 2014 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Bret was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho on July 25, 1966 to George and Tonya Stone and later relocated to Arizona with his mother. Bret graduated from Dobson High School in 1985. In 1990, Bret reconnected with his father and moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, where he met and married Lori Bozarth and became a father to her two young daughters. From a young age, Bret was very interested in motorcycles and mechanics. For over two decades, Bret worked to hone his skills as a craftsman, building, creating, and installing signs throughout Utah first with Rainbow Signs and then later with Impact Signs. Bret will be remembered as the life of the party and a loving and protective grandpa, father, son, brother, and uncle. Bret is survived by his father and step-mother, George and Kathy Stone; daughters, Nicole (Jeremy) Suwinski and Amber Bozarth; siblings, Cattreena, Jennifer (Ryan), Sharla, Cyrus (Sara); grandchildren, Ryan and M'Lynn; nieces, Keelie and Adele; and nephews, Ian and Colton. Bret was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Tonya and Gary Bowers. A Remembrance is scheduled for Bret on Sunday, September 21, 2014 from 12:00-3:00 pm at Fratelli Ristorante 9236 South Village Shop Drive, Sandy, UT 84094) All friends and family are welcome to attend to celebrate Bret's life.
