Brooklyn Faith Buehner Obituary (2019 - 2020)

Brooklyn Faith Buehner, daughter of Grant and Rachel (Beh) Buehner, unexpectedly returned to live with her Heavenly Father on February 24, 2020. While we are heartbroken, we are grateful for the hope we have in Jesus Christ and we trust in God’s plan for her and us. We’re so grateful for the brief time we had with her. She brought so much joy to our family with her sweet smile and sense of humor. Brooklyn was born on March 29, 2019 and smiled the day she was born. She was welcomed into the family by her older siblings, Luke and Ruth, who loved their baby sister and liked to make her laugh, comfort her when she cried, and play with her. Brooklyn was a calm, patient, and peaceful baby. She was very bright and was eager to learn and was just learning to say words and taking her first steps. Brooklyn brought us joy when she would reach out to show us what she wanted and race off to climb the stairs whenever she could escape. She loved to read books with her parents and thought it was so funny when she put toys and clothes on her head and played peek-a-boo with blankets. We miss her very much. We look forward to seeing our celestial sweetheart again someday. We appreciate the efforts of the medical personnel who tried so hard to save her life. The outpouring of love and support from family, friends, and neighbors has meant so much to us at this difficult time. We are learning what it means to mourn with those who mourn. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at 14550 Juniper Crest Rd, Herriman, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the services from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Interment at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah.
