Charles Gail Oliver Obituary (1940 - 2006)

“Loving husband, father, & grandfather” Charles Gail Oliver died peacefully June 2, 2006 surrounded by his loving family. Born Oct. 10, 1940 in Murray City, Utah to Charles Ernest and Emily Myrtle Smith Oliver. Married Carol Elizabeth Hatch in the SL LDS Temple and were later divorced. Married Angela Karen Green Oct. 30, 1972 in Elko, Nevada. He was an active member of the LDS Church. Gail was a dedicated employee for the State of Utah for 28 years. He was a lover of the great outdoors. He especially loved hunting, fishing, and camping. Survivors: wife; Angela, children; Valarie (Doug) Ogden, Charles Bryan (Paula), Colleen (Jerry) Gearheart, Chad, 11 grandchildren, and 1 brother; Richard (Marilyn) Oliver. He is also survived by his dogs; “Bubba Bear” of 8 years and “Duke”, which he frequently called “Stash”. Memorial services will be held Wed. 1:00 p.m., June 7, 2006 at the Telford Ward, 1834 E.
