Christel Breyell Obituary (1938 - 2016)

1938 ~ 2016 Christel Breyell, 78, passed away on August 12, 2016 from cancer. Born on January 21, 1938 in Bochum, Germany, she was the only child of Charlotte Johanna Lange and Karl Breyell. In 1970, she was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Following full-time missionary service, in France, she immigrated to Utah at age 40 where she worked as a live-in caretaker/housekeeper in the Salt Lake City area. During her retirement, she volunteered each Friday in the Salt Lake Temple as a laundry assistant. She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, resourcefulness and kindness. Graveside services were held in the Salt Lake City Cemetery on Thursday, April 14, 2016. Online memories may be shared at www.jenkins-soffe.com.
