Christian Frederick Hans Ranglack Obituary (1921 - 2021)

Christian Frederick Hans Ranglack age 100, our loving father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away peacefully, at home on Friday, July 2, 2021. He was born April 17, 1921 in Berlin, Germany. He married Sophie, his sweetheart, on August 3, 1948. They were sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple on January, 30, 1953. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served various missions with his wife, Sophie and held different positions. He loved genealogy and taking those names to the temple. He loved gardening, hiking in the mountains, stamp collecting and in later life going on ocean cruises. He enjoyed his dogs and had many throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sophie, of nearly 70 years and his eldest son, Clifford. He is survived by his children, Christa (David), Claudia, Claus (Carol), Katy (Alan), Douglas (Doreen) and his daughter in law Sue. He was a Grandfather to 10 grandchildren and Great grandfather to 18 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Murray 16th Ward located at 619 West 5750 South, Murray, Utah. There will be a visitation from 9:30-11:00 am prior to the service. Interment will be at the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
