Christina Jo Tyler Obituary (1947 - 2015)

1947-2015 Christina Jo Cooke Tyler, age 68, passed away on November 19, 2015. She was born February 25, 1947 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Joseph Fred Cooke and Ruth Thelma Hunter Cooke. She graduated from Olympus High School and attended Dixie State College. She is survived by her best friend and love of her life, David Max Tyler II, whom she married in Salt Lake City, Utah on September 22, 1967. She is survived by her two children: Michael (Laree) Nielsen Tyler, Stephanie Tyler Schouten; five grandchildren; Mitchell Sydney, Mason, Rylee, Pierson; and her siblings, Nicoletta, Jeffrey and Bradley. More than anything Christina loved reading and animals. Her life centered on her family, and nothing brought her more job than spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. Christina was a very modest and private woman throughout her life, and just as she lived her life, she asked that in death she be given the same privacy. A small memorial service will be held for close friends and family in her memory.
