Claire Louise Blatnick Bywater Obituary (1944 - 2020)

Claire Louise Bywater, 76, went peacefully surrounded by her husband and loved ones on Sunday, July 5, 2020. She graduated from Jordan High School. She worked at Travelers Insurance and Discover Card as a customer service rep. Later retired in 2006. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and reading. She was a USA Cycling Official for 29 years. She loved spending time with her many grandchildren, who were the love of her life. She is survived by her brother Duane Blatnick, Suisun City, CA , age 81, her children: Vona Lee Sutton (Steve), Heath Vicchrilli (Kyna), and her husband Gary Paul Bywater, 74 and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. There will be a viewing on Sunday, July 12 from 1:00-4:00 pm at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway, South Jordan, UT. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 13 at 10:00 am at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 S 1950 E, Sandy, UT. Masks are required. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Jordan Valley Cancer Center.
