Conne' Afton Gleason Thorpe Obituary (1938 - 2014)

Conne' Afton Thorpe was born to Byron and Afton Gleason. She married George R. "Dick" Thorpe on October 8, 1955 and solemnized in the SLC temple on April 24, 1964. She loved her family with all her heart and they always came first. She loved cooking, hunting, and being with her family. Survived by her husband, George R."Dick" Thorpe; daughter, Peggi Ann Farmer (David Steven); daughter, Cinde Lee Lagoo; daughter-in-law, Rita R. Thorpe; son, George B. "Jody" Thorpe (Becky), daughter, Christy Linn Rasmussen (Alan); daughter, Conne' Jo Thorpe; 2 sisters; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. Preceded by her eldest son, James R. "Ricky" Thorpe; son-in-law, Mark Lagoo; and parents. A celebration of life will be held, Saturday, July 12, 2014, at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S.
