“Brownie”Delbert David Brown, 74, Murray, Utah died August 10, 2009 at Intermountain Medical Center surrounded by family.Born October 17, 1934, Salt Lake City, Utah, to Ben and Emma Fullmer Brown.Graduated from Murray High School and served in the U.S. Air Force National Guard. He was employed by Wahlen Brothers Furniture for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and spending time at his mountain cabin.Survived by his sisters, Barbara (Robert) Wachs, Susan (Jerry) Bashor; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Sammy. Preceded in death by his parents and older brother, Richard (Dick) Brown.Viewing will be held Sunday evening, August 16, 2009, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home, 4760 South State Street, Murray. Graveside services will be at Murray City Cemetery, Monday, August 17, 2009 at 11:00 a.m.
