Donna Christie Perry Huff

Donna Christie Perry Huff, age 85, was called home to her Father in Heaven on December 17, 2017 due to medical complications. She died with dignity and peace with her family by her side. She is now reunited with her husband, parents and sisters.

She was born on October 8, 1932 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ezra Walter Perry and Christie Jensen. She graduated from Granite High School in 1950. She married her sweetheart, Darrell William Huff on February 3, 1951, which was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on October 7, 1977.

They lived in Cottonwood Heights for twenty years where they raised their children, Michael, who died at age six, and Cheri. They also lived in Park City, St. George and South Jordan. They traveled the world with many of their friends and created cherished memories.

Donna was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a strong testimony. She loved the gospel and served diligently in many callings throughout her life. Raising and loving her family was her highest priority and her greatest achievement and she cherished family gatherings.

She is survived by her daughter, Cheri Huff Hintze; grandsons Jeremy Jay Hintze, Christopher Darrell Hintze, Michael Glenn Hintze; ten great grandchildren, Kaylissa, Zariah, Jordan, Kelsey, Michael, Daimien, Aiden, Junius, Linkyn, Wil; brothers Max, Vernon, Dale and brother-in-law Duane.

Friday, December 22, a viewing will be held at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway from 6:00-8:00pm. Funeral services held Saturday, December 23, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at the South Jordan River 2nd Ward, 10400 S. 1540 W. Viewing held prior to the service from 10:00-10:45. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 S.

Donna always appreciated all the help she received. We wish to express our love and gratitude to our family, friends, neighbors and caregivers for their support.
