Dorothy V. Reader Obituary (1942 - 2016)

1942-2016 Dorothy V. Reader lost her battle with breast cancer February 11, 2016. Dorothy was born May 17, 1942 to Miles Roberts and Elva Dixon Roberts. She is preceded in death by her husband, Merlin A Reader, mother, Elva, her father, Miles and step- mother, Fern, step- brothers, David and Val Steele and step-sister, EmaLee Steele Tracy. She is survived by ten siblings; Betty Roberts, Joann Kenny, Ilene (Harold) Williams, Barbara (Vern) Adams, Billy (Connie) Roberts, James (Jo Ann) Steele, Jimmy (Kathy) Roberts, Elvan (Janet) Roberts, William Roberts, Randy (Janna) Roberts; her daughter, Kathy (Steve) Byerly, her son, Gene (Marci) Reader, her daughter, Brandy (David) Heimbigner. Also survived by seven grandchildren, Sarah Reader Berrie, David Knight, Eugene Reader, Eric Knight, Cody Knight, Jonah Heimbigner and Hayden Heimbigner and four great- grandchildren, Logan and Luke Berrie and Emalea and Wyatt Knight. A viewing will be held Monday evening, February 15, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm and Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, February 16, 2016 with a viewing one hour prior to the service at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Chapel, located at 4760 S State St in Murray, Utah.
