Dorthey Geniavie Dalley Muhlstein Obituary (1924 - 2012)

“Loving Wife, Mother & Grandma”Dorthey died November 29, 2012. She was born, in Fairview on March 17, 1924 to Lewis W. Dalley Alta Bernic Nilson. She married Arnold A. Muhlestein December 24, 1944; later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.She was a Beta Sigma Phi (Carbon County), a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, and a member of the Murray 9th Ward Study Group.Survived by her husband, Arnold; 3 daughters, Patsy Bird (Stan Bird), Colleen Christensen (Elliot Christensen), Peggy Rabin (Patrick Chkoreff); 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; and sister, Bonnie Prestwich. Preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ivan and Winston Dalley. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the health care team at Holladay Health Care Center. Also, thanks to the Symbii Hospice for their dedication and care.Graveside services will be Monday, December 3, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Lake Hills Memorial Park, 10055 South State Street. A viewing will be Monday at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, from 11:30-12:30.
