Dorthy Allen Obituary (1946 - 2017)

Dorthy Allen was born on September 5, 1946. She was surrounded by love & family as she embarked on her new journey April 19, 2017. Her life was filled with adventure, thirst for knowledge, & love of truth. She felt at home in nature, enjoyed being active outdoors, & loved watching the changing weather patterns & clouds. She was authentic, brave, free spirited, & lived her life with integrity. She loved a challenge & completed many marathons. Survived by mother, Gwen; daughter, Kim; granddaughter, Whitney; and great-granddaughter, Kennedy Rose. Special thanks to Byron Katie & Karen McKy for teaching us joy & peace. And thanks to Kim, Dana & Ruth for the beautiful gifts during her transition. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your favorite charity in Dorthy's name.
