Edith M. Shaddick Obituary (1924 - 2008)

Hi “DUMMY” I’m Finally Here! Edith left this world to be with her husband of 60 years Fred on May 16, 2008. She was born November 9, 1924 in Salt Lake City to Fred S. and Bertha E. Turner. Married Frederick H. Shaddick on April 25, 1944 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Together they had 2 children, Frederick J. Shaddick & Mary Lou Shaddick. Edith possessed a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. She is survived by her children, 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 3 sisters and 2 brothers. The family would like to thank the ICU nursing staff, the 3West nursing staff and physicians at St. Mark’s Hospital. Also the staff who cared for Edith at Highland Care center. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at 11:00 am at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State St., Murray, where friends may call Tuesday 6 – 8 pm and Wednesday 10 – 10:45 am. Interment Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
