Edward Craig Price Obituary (1949 - 2012)

My Loving Husband Edward Craig Price passed away on January 31, 2012 after a short but rapid fight with cancer. Edward was born to Douglas Howard and Verola Dimond Price on March 24, 1949 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He married Carlene LaMay Gamble on October 1, 1971. Edward was perpetually happy. He loved life and always put his family first. He stared hardship in the face with a smile. Edward loved his job as a school bus driver for Jordan School District and up to the end, he swore he would be going back to work soon. He enjoyed spending time with the family and doing anything outdoors. Edward’s favorite time of the day was morning and waking up to the sun and the birds.Edward is survived by his wife, Carlene; seven children, Ric Smith, Pauline Orme, Candace Woolley, Ed Price Jr., Catherine Price, Eli Price, and Eva Price; eighteen grandchildren; brothers Stanley Price and Parry Price; and sisters Linda Lytle and Betty Perry.A viewing will be held at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 S), South Jordan on Friday, February 3, 2012 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 11:00 am with a viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Interment will be at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road, Salt Lake City.
