View Funeral Webcast In the early morning of December 16, 2020 our Sweet Mom, Elaine Fay Matson Cook Moosman, left this earth to become an Angel. Mom was so full of life! She was a feisty firecracker, funny, caring, always on the go, Queen of the Chicken Dance, a Potato Salad Extraordinaire, candle making maniac, roller derby rogue, bowling fanatic, sweets loving, ornament making, best hug giving friend to all. Mom was born June 11, 1937 to Royal and Ethel Matson. She married Dad (Martin Cook-Deceased), later divorced and together they had 8 unique children. Mom spent the last few years battling the effects of Alzheimers. Mom is survived by 7 children: Chris (Debbie) Cook, Scott (Theresa) Cook, Val (Rex) Giles, Shawn Cook, Marianne Cook, David Cook and Kim Johnston, 21 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 1 sister Marilyn (Ted) Vandam, 1 brother Ralph Matson. Preceded in death by her parents, brothers Les and Ron Matson, sisters Linda (Paul) Danjanovic, Marge (Bob) Lawson, Lois (Mike) Frink, Donna (Chuck) Callahan, daughter Terrie (Paul) Vaniscek, grandsons Jeff and Lance. Services 10:00 am followed by a private family burial at Elysian Gardens. Masks and social distancing are required.
