Obituary for Elsie Robinson

Elsie M. Rowley Robinson passed away January 11, 2019 in South Jordan, Utah. She was born May 7, 1922 in Richfield, Utah to Andrew W. Rowley and Nephine M. Thorup. Elsie grew up in Richfield and graduated from Richfield High School. She took extension classes from Utah State University, LDS Business College and Trade Tech. She married E. Clinton Robinson of Paragonah, Utah in the Manti Temple on June 5, 1940. They later divorced. She worked as a telephone operator, foreman at the University of Utah Printing service, and at J.C. Penney. Elsie is survived by her children: Janet (Carl) Nelson, Gereld (Connie), and Laraine (Gary) Sant; son-in-law Melvin Parker, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Beverly Parker.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Butler 20th Ward, 1355 East 7200 South, Cottonwood Heights, Utah, with a viewing from 10:00-10:45 am prior the service. Interment at Salt Lake City Cemetery.

We are grateful to the staffs at Cascade Rehab at Riverwalk and the Sheridan Assisted Living in South Jordan for their excellent care and concern for our mother.
