Estella Ramoncita Marquez Trujillo Obituary (1934 - 2017)

5/10/1934 ~ 6/4/2017 Estella Ramoncita Marquez Trujillo, 83, passed away peacefully June 4, 2017 in Taylorsville, Utah. She was born in Los Pinos, New Mexico, in the village of Santa Rita to Alfonso Marquez and Maria Lucita Quintana. She married her lifelong companion, Candido Antonio Trujillo on October 9, 1955. They spent 49 happy years together prior to his passing in 2004. Estella devoted her life to her family. She impacted the lives of those around her with her kind and giving heart, and not a single ounce of selfishness. The door to her home was always open and the kitchen always ready. Day or night, all were welcome. She was born in a place and a time where trials were many but she overcame some of those challenges and endured the rest. She leaves a legacy of love to her posterity. Estella is survived by her sons, Gerald (Ronda) and Andrew (Evelyn); eight grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen (Rudy), Joann; brother, Adolph (Judy); and many nieces, nephews and close family members. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters: Juanita Lopez, Delfinia Villa, Loyola Lucero, brothers: Filimon, and Joe Manuel Marquez. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 3, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martin de Porres Church, 4914 S. 2200 W. in Taylorsville, UT. A Rosary prayer service will be held on Sunday, July 2, 2017, from 5-6 p.m. followed by a viewing from 6-7:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State St., Murray, UT.
