Eugene Lloyd Plumby Obituary (1921 - 2006)

Eugene Lloyd Plumby passed away February 15, 2006. He was born October 14, 1921 in Price, Utah to Louis and Marie Pagano Polombi. Married Colene H. Gould; later divorced. Eugene was very involved in the deaf community. He enjoyed bowling with them and treasured the friendships he developed. He also coached baseball and basketball for the hearing impaired. He worked at Standard Optical for 47 years and was an active member of the LDS Church. Survived by his three children, Lester G., Suzanne C. Farnsworth, and Gary E. (Pamela); 1 grandchild, Brandy; 2 great-grandchildren, Zavier and Starlette; many cousins; and numerous friends. Preceded in death by his parents. Graveside services will be held Friday, February 17, 2006 at 1 p.m. at Murray City Cemetery, 5600 So. Vine Street. Friends may call from 11:30-12:30 prior to services at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street.
