Faye Schofield "Socks" Park Obituary (1934 - 2017)

Faye Schofield “Socks” Park passed away from cardiac arrest Wednesday, December 13, 2017, in Murray, Utah. She was born January 8, 1934 in Centerville, Utah; the daughter of Alvin and Pauline Schofield. She married her sweetheart, Willard LeRoy Park; he passed away in 2014. Faye resided in Taylorsville, Utah since 1986. She was a member of the LDS church and was active at the Primary pianist for many years. Up until the time of her death, she was active for 50 years in many bowling leagues. She was also very involved at the Taylorsville Senior Center by teaching and making crafts such as plastic canvas. She is survived by her sons, Alvin Scott Park of Holladay, Utah, Kelly Robert “Bob” Park (Brenda) of West Jordan, Utah; her daughter, Nancy Ann Park Lippman of Taylorsville, Utah; 8 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Willard; her son, Dennis; her daughter-in-law, Susan; and her son-in-law, David. Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 18, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State Street, Murray, Utah, with a viewing Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to services. Interment will be at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, Utah.
