Floyd L. Ormsby Obituary (1927 - 2012)

Floyd was born to Robert Paki and Flora Marshall Ormsby in Katikati, New Zealand. He is survived by his wife, Carma; stepdaughter, Suzanne; stepson, Ken; and brother, Arnel Ormsby who resides in New Zealand. Floyd owned and operated his own barber shop for 52 years in the Salt Lake Valley. He was involved in Field and Track with High Schools and Colleges, specializing in Rugby and Race Walking. There will be a viewing at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, on Sunday, January 22, 2012 from 5-7 p.m. Graveside services will be Monday, January 23, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Murray City Cemetery, 5600 So. Vine Street. The family is grateful for the care and love shown by the staff of Highland Care Center.
