Franz Josef Starmanns Obituary (1937 - 2008)

Franz Josef Starmanns passed away peacefully on August 24, 2008 at his home in Murray, UT. He is survived by his wife and his daughter. He was born in Cologne, Germany, on March 20, 1937, and married Christa G. Knop on August 31, 1962. He has one daughter, Birgit. The family moved from Germany to Virginia in 1972. After a short relocation to Germany in 1990, Franz and his wife moved to Murray, UT thirteen years ago. Franz’ priority was always his family. He was loved and respected by his colleagues. He enjoyed traveling in both the old world and the new, especially on family vacations. Graveside services will be held at Murray City Cemetery at 5490 So. Vine Street, Murray, UT, on Friday, August 29, 2008 at 11 a.m.
