George C. Cox Jr.

November 6, 1945 ~ October 26, 2018

George (Chris) to his family returned home to his Heavenly Father and his earthly parents on October 26, 2018. George was born to George Cox Sr. and Bernice Cox Slick in Salt Lake City, Utah, on November 6, 1945.
George served in the U.S. Marine Corps from January 6, 1967, and separated on July 2, 1970, with an Honorable Discharge. He served three tours in Vietnam. He gave his ALL to this country and to his family proudly. He flew the USA flag and the POW flag all the time in Honor of his Comrades. He earned the rank of Sergeant.
Chris lived in Vernal, Utah, for a short time before moving to Texarkana, Texas. He was a very sweet and loving brother who taught us all many lessons in life and will be missed terribly by all.
He is survived by his siblings: Mary (Bill Hand), of Meridian, Mississippi; Delbert (Jody) Cox, of Hilo, Hawaii; Ralph (Kimberly) Cox, of Fallbrook, California; Barbara (Blaine) Watson of Vernal, Utah, and many nieces and nephews who loved him. George was the father of three children.
