Georgia Mae Meats Obituary (1933 - 2019)

Georgia Mae Meats was born on March 17th 1933 to Daniel Royer Meats Senior and Mary Helen Mae Jones. She was the 2nd oldest of seven kids. Georgia was one of the kindest, most generous souls. She absolutely loved children and had a hand in raising many of her nieces and nephews. She was a foster mom for many years which lead to her adopting two children who she loved unconditionally. She loved being a mom and nurturing children. She was a woman of many talents. She worked in the garment industry, she designed the most beautiful gowns and dresses. Georgia later worked at Northrup as an engineer working on various projects relating to the aviation industry. Georgia was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved being in the temple. She served a mission in Switzerland and even after continued to dedicate her life in service to her Heavenly Father. Georgia is survived by her daughter Rebecca Meats and son Charles Meats, and her bonus sister Delois Guymon and so many nieces and nephews who she loved so very much. Georgia passed away October 4th 2019 rejoining her mom, dad and six siblings waiting for her to complete their family on the other side.
