Gina Marie McGarvey Obituary (1970 - 2014)

Gina Marie McGarvey, 44, passed away peacefully and quietly in her home on September 16, 2014 in Sandy, Utah. She was born to Anthony and Devona Costanza on September 6, 1970, in Murray, Utah. Married to the love of her life, Mike McGarvey, in Moab, Utah, on November 23, 2002, she was the most incredible and loving wife. Gina grew up within a close-knit family in Riverton and Draper at a time when the countryside was open before diving into corporate America. Her independent spirit and determination took her to places and exposed her to people where friendships have lasted a lifetime. All the while rebounding from each setback with perseverance for a better tomorrow and an absolute love for life that was infectious to everyone around her. She was such an amazing woman. Our lives have truly been impacted but also blessed for having had our time with her. Gina is survived by her husband, Mike; mother, Devona; sister, Mary; and brother, Dominick. She was preceded in death by her father, Anthony. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2014, 11 a.m. at Redwood Memorial on 6500 South Redwood Road, in West Jordan.
