Glenda Ellen Wall Vigil Obituary (1935 - 2006)

“Together Forever” Glenda Ellen Wall Vigil returned to her Heavenly Father on December 1, 2006 due to complications from a stroke. She was born on June 10, 1935 to Dellis & Edna McKinney Wall in Lehi, Utah. Married to Edward Ralph Vigil in November 1955 and later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Glenda was a Head Start teacher for many years. She loved camping in Yellowstone with her family and enjoyed being with her grandchildren. She was very loving and giving and was always thinking of others first. She taught her children to be strong when faced with adversity. She was a fighter who never thought of herself or ever gave up. She loved gardening and loved to share what she grew. Glenda is survived by her 5 children; Katherine (Roger) Nelson, Greg Vigil, Michelle (Rick) Takemori, Camille (Scott) Baker, Lisa Vigil, 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 1 brother; Lehman Wall and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eddie and sister, Linda Lee. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at the Murray 10th Ward (5750 Nena Way). Friends and family may call on from 6-8 on Tuesday, December 5th at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary (4760 So. State St.) and one hour prior to the services at the church. Interment at Murray City Cemetery.
