Grace B. Austin Obituary (1921 - 2012)

“Together Again” Grace B. Austin passed away January 4, 2012. She was born November 3, 1921 in Harrisburg, PA to Le-Roy Kugle and Evangeline Balsbaugh. She honorably served in the U.S. Navy. While in the Navy, she met and married Elden Austin on July 7, 1945; their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple November 7, 1975.Grace was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The church and her family were very important to her.Survived by her children, Betty (William) Simmons, Sue (Terry) Kinder, Donald (Jolee) Austin, and Paul (Robin) Austin; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and extended family members. Preceded in death by her husband; parents; 2 sisters; and 2 brothers.Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 7, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street. A viewing for family and friends will be at the mortuary Friday evening from 5-7 p.m. Interment: Larkin Sunset Gardens.
