Heather Lynn Belnap Obituary (1999 - 2014)

Our precious, little angel peacefully returned to the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on April 1, 2014. She entered this world May 8th, 1999 with a beautiful body quickened by a pure and innocent spirit. Throughout her short life she was an inspiration to everyone she met and taught us to cherish every moment. Heather attended Kauri Sue Hamilton School and loved her bus drivers, classmates, therapists, and teachers. She was accepting of others and left a perfect example of love and patience. She radiated a glow that captured your heart and left you feeling joy and peace. Heather loved to wear her jammies and show off her pretty, painted fingernails. She loved to read books with her mom, dance with her dad, listen to music with Michael, act silly and laugh with David, and tease her dog, Cruiser, with treats. Heather is survived by her parents Steve and Kristy Belnap, brothers Michael and David, Nana and Papa K and Elsie Rigby, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, neighbors, friends, and ward members who dearly love her. She also leaves behind her loving puppy Cruiser who was her traveling pillow. She's preceded in death by her grandparents Kay and Karma Belnap, uncles Lee Belnap and Robert Johnson, and cousin Shawn Marti. Heather now has the opportunity in Heaven to love and care for her baby cousins who have passed away: Sage Marti, Sam Schwab, Kathryn Anderson, Paxton Wilcox, and Austin Wilcox. The family thanks the many doctors and nurses at Primary Children's Medical Center who provided loving care and became long-lasting friends with Heather. In addition, her home-health nurses (Karen, Linda, Kathleen, and Marsha) who were like family to her. Funeral Services will be Mon. April 7th at 11 am, LDS Chapel, 1540 W and 10400 S, South Jordan, UT with a viewing prior at 9:30. Viewing will be Sun. April 6th from 6-8 pm at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 1007 W South Jordan Parkway.
