Ila Childs Cornick Obituary (1924 - 2014)

"Mom, Grandma, G.G." Ila Cornick 90 left us here to join her family and our Lord on March 21st, 2014. Born January 6th 1924 to Eldon Knighton and Erva Amanda Childs. Married George Cornick on September 19th, 1944. She loved life and her family, especially her two great-grandkids, Jackson and Brooklyn. She is survived by her sisters, Julia, Betty Lou, and MaryAnn; son, George; daughter, JoAnn Shelton and her grandsons, Jeff Cornick and Brandon Rosvall, his wife Nicole, and her "kids" Jax and Brookie! Preceded in death by George, Eldon, Erva, brother Iver, and her son, Rick. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State St. in Murray. Viewing will be held at 11:00 a.m. prior to services.
