Irene B. Thiemig Obituary (1952 - 2012)

“Oma”Our beloved sister, mother, and Oma, passed away January 20th 2012, due to health complications.Oma was born on January 29th 1952 to Noel and LaVe Bills in Murray, Utah. She graduated from Murray High School.Oma started her family with Werner in 1978. She enjoyed being a mother to all her children. Through her years with the U.N.S., she was president four times.Irene’s love of life and the outdoors led her to her last home on earth with her best friend, Allen Child, in Saratoga Springs, on the western shore of Utah Lake.“We will miss you Oma. You may be gone now, but you will never be forgotten.”Irene is survived in life by: Werner Thiemig, Michael (Cami) Thiemig, Jeff Thiemig, Justin Thiemig, Jenny (Ryan) Hewitt; eight grandchildren; and her best friend, Allen Child. She will also be sorely missed by many other friends and extended family.Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 26th 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, Murray, Utah. The viewing will be held prior to the services from 4:00 to 5:45 p.m., also at Jenkins-Soffe.
