Jaime Rodriguez Obituary (1981 - 2012)

“El Capitan”Jaime Rodriguez passed away at his home surrounded by his family on January 25, 2012 from complications due to cancer. He was born March 25, 1981 in Hollywood, CA to Alicia Mendoza and Secundino Rodriguez. He graduated in ’99 from West High.Jaime married his best friend, Amy Hoffman, in 2002. Family, friends and his two dogs were a very important part of his life. He loved the outdoors, sports, board games, video games and barbecues with his Peeps. He was a very loyal friend and protector of those he loved.He is survived by his wife, Amy; two beloved dogs, Bronco and Oli; parents, Raudel and Alicia Avelar; in-laws, Bob and Barbara Hoffman; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the tender car and professional service of CNS Hospice.Funeral services will be Monday, January 30, 2012 at 12 Noon at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley Mortuary, 1007 W. So. Jordan Parkway (10600 South), South Jordan, UT. Viewings will also be at the mortuary Sunday evening from 5-7 p.m. and Monday from 10:30-11:45 a.m. Interment: Bountiful City Cemetery.
