James Andreas Lafeen

–

West Jordan, UT

Jim passed away at home after a fierce battle with lung cancer. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy for 17 years, followed by 7 years in the Army National Guard. In 1987, he reunited with his junior high school love, Pam, who he later married and raised 3 children with and later welcomed 6 grandchildren who they loved very much. Jim was an avid hunter and enjoyed the time he got to spend on a mountainside with his brother, Hal, waiting on the perfect shot. And on any Friday night, he could be found at the bowling alley working on that 300 game.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pam, their children Shelley (Dennis), Eddie (Amber), and Angie, and grandchildren Dennis Jr., Xiomara, Diego James, Kendra, Mya and Skye. He was dearly loved and will be missed by his brother and sisters – Hal, Carroll, Sharon, Sharlean, Marie and Faithe and many nieces and nephews.

His last request – No suits and ties! Please come dressed to help him to his next adventure.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 10, 2013 at 1:30 pm at the Utah Veteran's Memorial Park, 17111 South Camp Williams Road, Bluffdale, Utah.
