Jan Penney Obituary (1961 - 2011)

Our mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend returned home peacefully on December 24, 2011. She was a big hearted person that cared deeply for others. She loved her grandkids and had a passion for beadwork and crystals. She was born on March 3, 1961 in San Francisco and then resided in Salt Lake City, UT for the remainder of her life. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered. She was survived by her children: Buddy (Kenzi), Christine (Casey), Caitlin (Drew), Devin (Cami), Andrew, and her 8 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Gerald; mother, Alice; brother, Donnie; and sister, Dea. A visitation will be Friday, December 30, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State Street.
