Jenee Merrill slipped from this life into the arms of her Heavenly Father on October 28, 2008 after a lengthy illness. Born August 7, 1955 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Lewis and Renee Merrill. She fulfilled an LDS mission to Washington D.C., was a guide at Temple Square and was a worker in the Jordan River Temple. She served faithfully in many callings in the LDS church, but missionary work was her passion and the focus of her entire life.\n\nJenee worked for many years at the University of Utah Healthcare Clinics, she was beloved by countless doctors, co-workers, and patients.\n\nJenee is survived by her mother; siblings, David (Diane) Merrill, Janet (Roger) Denney, Robyn (Ken) Wright, Liz Drake, Robert (Alisa) Merrill, Nathan (Shauna) Merrill, Paul (Laura) Merrill, and Mary Carroll; 34 nieces and nephews who she helped raise and loved unconditionally. Preceded in death by her father; and brother, Douglas.\n\nA viewing will be held on Friday, October 31, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, Murray, UT. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing 1 hour prior at Murray West Stake Center, 5750 S.
