John "JB" Carl Brown Obituary (1960 - 2017)

Duchesne, UT- JB passed away unexpectedly on March 10, 2017. Born in Murray, UT, he was the son of Bob & Leone Brown. He attended Granite High School. He married the love of his life, Tonya (Tonnie) Yengich. JB was an avid golfer, and he also loved playing poker, fishing and spending time with his family. He always had a smile on his face. JB will be remembered for his love of life and his compassion and love of his fur babies, Tigger, Peanut & Thumper. He was employed at Shields Trucking as a water hauler, was a skilled carpenter and hard worker and has made many friends along the way. JB is survived by his wife, Tonnie Brown; son, Christopher Brown; sisters, Gloria (Jim) Burningham and Connie (Brent) Bodily; brother, Terry Brown; 3 grandsons; 5 nieces; and 3 nephews. Preceded in death by his parents; brother, David Brown, and fur baby, Tashia Lynn. A Memorial Celebration will be held on Sunday, March 19, 2017, at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State St., Murray, UT. Friends and family may visit from 2:00-3:00 p.m. with the Memorial Celebration from 3:00-4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations are accepted at any Wells Fargo under "John Carl Brown Funding Account", as well as donations can be made to Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary to assist the family with funeral expenses.
