June Naylor Obituary (1925 - 2016)

Beloved Wife & Mother Wilma June Naylor, 90, our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully at home on January 22, 2016. She was born June 22, 1925 in Taylorsville, Utah, the daughter of Leonard and Wilma Mackay. She married Wallace Earlynn Naylor on August 21, 1946 in the Salt Lake City temple. June has been a faithful and active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. June's infectious smile and laugh made everyone around her feel happy. She has a great love for children and served in the Primary for many years. June loved boating, fishing, and hand-sewing. She has made many beautiful quilts for family and friends. June loved being with her family, especially Wally, her eternal companion. We love you Mom; you will be greatly missed. June is survived by her husband, Wallace Earlynn Naylor and 3 children, Kathy (Rick) Oaks, David (Denise) Naylor, and Shauna (John) Allen, 11 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara Mackay and brother, Stan Mackay. June is preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth Johansen, Phylis Mackay, Joyce Owens, Maxine Oakeson, and brother, Keith Mackay. We want to give a special thanks to Vyonne and Connie for their many hours of loving care and to Intermountain Hospice for their professional service. Funeral service for June will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Butler 27th Ward, 1845 East 7200 South, where a viewing will be held on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday morning from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will follow the service at Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 East 7800 South, Cottonwood Heights.
