Kathleen Lindquist Keysaw Obituary (1947 - 2014)

Kathleen Lindquist Keysaw was born January 11, 1947 to Kenneth and Marguerite Lindquist in Logan, Utah. She grew up dancing, fishing with her dad and skiing at Beaver Mountain. She graduated from Logan High School in 1965 and attended Utah State University. Kathy was passionate about her family and friends, football, her dogs, her rose garden, and loud music! She often was found crocheting an afghan for a new baby or a sick friend. Her afghans are treasured by those who received them. Anyone who met her affectionately called her "Mom", from her children's friends to her "boys in the band", Western Underground. She lived out her last years in Kenai, Alaska where she and Al built a beautiful log home off the Kenai River, surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors. Kathy is survived by the love of her life, Harry (Al) Keysaw, who compassionately took care of her as dementia slowly stole her independence, her children Paul (Kristina) Olson, Jeff Olson, and Julie (Brent) Scherzinger, her grandchildren Timothy (Bonnie), Chad, Courtney, Becca, Taylor, Ashlee, Alex, Abbie and Bradley, great-grandson Abel. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Kenny Lindquist, and a very special brother in-law Dar Larsen. Friends and family can visit on Sunday, September 21, 2014 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 South), South Jordan, Utah. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 22, 2014 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with a viewing from 10:00-10:45 am prior to the service. Interment at American Fork Cemetery.
